This is a very good solid series 1 XKE that we have known for many years. We see no evidence of previous body damage or rust. Good solid accident free rust free XKE's are very hard to find! The car was completely gone threw about 5 years ago by us to very nice driver/show standards. At this time the car was completely stripped to bare metal and engine and transmission removed for paint. The car was painted back to it original color of silver. While the engine was out it was cleaned and resealed. The engine runs very strong and did not need a rebuild. We also detailed the car under the hood to make it look great for shows. The rear end was also removed, re sealed and detailed. The paint on the vehicle is very nice but does have a few blisters starting on the bonnet heat vents. This is not uncommon for XKE's because of the heat that comes from the engine bay. The interior is nice but is older. The car runs and drives very well and does not need anything. This is a perfect car to drive and show on weekends.
